I haven’t always been an expert in infant sleep. When I was pregnant, I remember thinking, ‘I can’t wait to get this child out of me, so I can finally get some sleep!’ I thought babies were supposed to sleep for 17 hours a day.. how hard could it be?
Along came reflux, nap refusals and agonising bedtime battles. I’d finally manage an awkward crib transfer, only for my little girl to wake up screaming 45 minutes later. Then I’d be up all night replacing her dummy.
I was so tired, I would sometimes fantasise about getting hit by a car, just so I could get some rest in a hospital. Apparently that is a common thought for new parents, especially mums during that crazy hormonal, postpartum period.
I desperately needed to get my head around this sleep stuff before things got really dark. So, I did.
Now I’m on a quest to impart that knowledge with as many exhausted parents as possible. The struggle is real, but it doesn’t have to continue. Better nights are possible. Let me help you achieve them.
Hello, I’m Carli
My approach is centred around connection. I want to learn more about you and your child, so I can develop a plan that you’re comfortable with. All of my sleep packages include one-to-one support as I know how daunting it can be to manage infant sleep. For me, the right support is crucial to making successful, lasting changes. It’s my job to motivate you through the plan, arming you with confidence to reach your sleep goals with ease.
